Krasnodar captain Eduard Spertsyan has matched the Russian Premier League record for most assists in a single season, achieving the feat during the 29th round match against Dynamo Moscow at the VTB Arena.
The midfielder provided the assist for defender Diego Costa’s opening goal in the 32nd minute, bringing his season tally to 16 assists. This milestone places Spertsyan alongside an elite group: Dmitri Loskov (2003 season), Hulk (2015/16), and Maxim Glushenkov (2023/24), who previously held the record.
Currently, Dynamo Moscow sits eighth in the league standings with 39 points, while Krasnodar occupies second place with 63 points. Zenit St. Petersburg leads the table with 65 points, having already completed their 29th-round fixture.
