Lokomotiv Moscow secured a 1-0 victory over Baltika Kaliningrad in Round 29 of the Russian Premier League, extending the visitors’ winless run in the competition to seven consecutive games.
The only goal of the match came in the 4th minute, scored by Rudenko. No red cards were issued, though Andrade received a yellow card in the 12th minute.
Prior to this match, Baltika had drawn against Makhachkala’s Dynamo (2-2), Pari NN (2-2), Krasnodar (2-2), and Akhmat Grozny (1-1), and lost to Akron Tolyatti (0-1) and Rubin Kazan (0-1).
After 29 matches in the Russian championship, Lokomotiv sits third in the standings with 53 points, while Baltika occupies fifth place with 46 points.
In the final round of the season, Baltika will face Moscow’s Dynamo on May 17, while Lokomotiv will take on CSKA Moscow on the same day.
